Advantages and disadvantages for galvanized steel pipe
Like the saying goes that a coin has two sides. So does for other product, there is disadvantage here along with the advantage. Today we would like to talk about the highlights and short back for galvanized steel pipe.
Advantages: No doubt that galvanized steel pipe, with its special protect surface zinc galvanized, it would have a better performance of rust resistance. And thus manufacturer would divide them into three categories which are Pre-painted (zinc: 60-120G/M2), Hot-dipped galvanized (zinc: 120-500G/M2) and Cold-dipped galvanized(zinc:10-50G/M2) for every kind of engineering project.
Disadvantages: First of all, let's have a look at the problems galvanized steel pipe has. The zinc would flake off over time on the it thus the flaking would cause the pipe to burst. Under this situation, there is no doubt that the utilizing galvanized pipe to carry gas can create a hazard. What's more, due to the zinc coating and manufacturing process involved in producing galvanized steel pipe, it costs more than black steel pipe.
High quality comes from accurate production process and high original material. We are still using it even the high cost of the galvanized steel pipe as it is beneficial for our daily life.
